The company was established in 2021, driven by our commitment to avoiding common cosmetic irritants and seeking everyday product substitutes. Our philosophy revolves around nurturing skin health and preserving its natural barrier through the use of high-quality, nature-derived ingredients. We’re inspired by the Viking tradition of exceptional cleanliness. Unlike many Europeans who bathed infrequently and used perfume to mask odors, Vikings practiced daily washing and weekly baths, reflecting a strong respect for personal hygiene. The Norse word "Laugardag," meaning Saturday, translates to "wash day."
